Particle alkali characteristics:
Solid alkali is prone to deliquescence and reacts with carbon dioxide, so the storage of solid alkali generally requires drying and sealing.
Granular alkali is a solid sodium hydroxide with all the chemical properties of sodium hydroxide. When placed in air, it absorbs moisture from the air, undergoes deliquescence, and reacts with carbon dioxide to deteriorate. Dry and sealed packaging is also required for granular alkali. Generally, 25KG three-layer plastic woven bags are used for packaging granular alkali in China.
